Hi, I'm Abby — the founder of Cornerstone Feeding & Lactation. Every feeding journey looks different. Some begin in the NICU, some in the newborn days, and some unfold as babies grow and face new challenges. Wherever yours begins, you belong here and you don't have to navigate it alone.
Rare, end-to-end feeding expertise
I'm dual-certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a combination that lets me support the full spectrum of infant feeding under one roof, from prenatal lactation counseling through every developmental feeding phase. Most families have to piece this care together across several providers. With Cornerstone, it lives with one clinician who can see how each part connects.
Nearly 20 years alongside babies learning to eat
Over nearly two decades, I've worked in early intervention, outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital units and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the leading Chicago children's hospital. The heart of my career has been supporting infants through every kind of feeding journey, including premature babies and those with significant medical needs.
Why I built Cornerstone
I founded Cornerstone Feeding & Lactation out of a deep passion for infants and the families who love them. Cornerstone was born from a simple but powerful idea: families shouldn’t have to navigate feeding challenges alone.
I bring my experiences and expertise directly into your home and provide both you and your baby with support that builds steady progress and confidence in yourself as a parent. Cornerstone is built on the belief that a path forward exists for every infant, and that finding it requires both clinical precision and genuine partnership.
