In-Home Feeding Therapy
Feeding challenges in infancy can feel overwhelming but you don't have to face them alone. Cornerstone provides in-home feeding therapy across every stage of infant feeding, from breastfeeding and bottle feeding to cup and straw drinking and the introduction of solid foods.
-
Not every feeding difficulty looks dramatic. Sometimes it's a baby who tires quickly, takes an hour to finish a bottle, coughs or gags during feeds, arches away, or never seems satisfied. Families often seek support when feeding feels stressful and they're not sure why and that's exactly what an evaluation is for.
-
Using a compassionate, evidence-based approach, Cornerstone works alongside you to identify the root cause of your baby's feeding challenges and build a plan tailored to your family. Every in-home evaluation begins with listening to your story, followed by a thorough oral-motor and feeding assessment. From there, recommendations and a plan are given with doable next steps you can carry out at home. If recommended, follow-up therapy sessions are available in-person and virtually, for continued support between in-home visits.
